50cl bottle beermerchants.com. Lovely clear burnt gold appearance. Loads of grapefruit, giving subtle, soft bitterness. Some peaches and cream balance it out but the finish is long, bitter and satisfying.

New version apparently. I knew this would be good. I wasn’t wrong. Standard quality Kernel deep dark gold looks with a thin but stable white head. Superb Nelson Sauvin fruity stuff all round but nothing like as much of the slight amonia quality you usually get from this hop. Grassy, kiwi fruit, some faint lime and an excellent sprinkling of herbs. Really good dry mouthfeel and morish drinkability. Lovely.

Cask at CPK. Pours hazy gold with a light, foamy head. Nice grass and piss aroma. Great balance in the flavor. More pee bitters, light earthiness, caramel sweetness. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Balanced finish, moderate grass, cat pee, light grapefruit, slight earth. Just great. This beer drank itself.

Bottle, cheers mesandsim. I do love me some Kernel. Pale orange gold with a white head. Stunning aroma, lots of hops, coriander, slight hint of onion, grass and herbs. Massive points for drinkability, love this stuff, love Kernel.

Bottle from brewery. Colour is cloudy orange, big foaming white head. Nose is that great earthy rain on tarmac Nelson Sauvin, but also lots of soft tropical fruit. loads of citrous lemon and grapefruit, minerally and pine. Taste is big hit of citrous lemon and grapefruit, soft tropical fruits and the earthy rain on tarmac nelson hops. It;s been a while since I’ve had a big moment on a Kernel pale ale, but this is the one. Lovely beer.

Draught at Kernel Brewery, London dec 2012. Yellow hazy beer with an creamy offwhite head. Hoppy, passionfruit, tropical fruits, sweet orangese aroma. Smiliar flavour with some bitterness. Really a nice beer :-)

Almost clear, light orange with pretty much no head. Lime, just heaps and heaps of lime. Also some fresh cilantro, sweet bread, grapes and maybe barnyard smells. I like it. Light and extremely easy to drink body due to the low carbonation. Enough taste in here, bitter finish. Very drinkable, not complex. Expensive here because of the extremely low quantity import. (50cl bottle, 5,30 EUR)

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2011 Bottle at cgarvieuk?s tasting. Slightly hazy orange/yellow (good pouring skills, Craig!), small white head that practically vanishes. Nose is a bit soapy I felt - gooseberry maybe, some orange zest/grapefruit. Palate is somewhat dry, citrus notes and some lemon zest. Something woody/earthy also, with a hint of bready malts. Complex I guess. Finish is soapy and citrussy. I love this hop and I love this brewer, but for some reason it didn?t totally work for me. Shame. Sampled again at home. Enjoyed much more - soft, juicy gooseberry hop, soft bitter finish. Nice. +1

A komló viszont dolgozik benne keményen. A Nelson Sauvin egy különleges újvilági komló, ami a Sauvignon Blanc-ról kapta a nevét, főleg azért, mert az illata okán ezt is a friss egreshez hasonlítják, akárcsak amazt.
