Bottle from Corks of Cotham. Hazy amber with a tight, off-white head and lively carbonation. Hoppy, tangerine and pineapple aroma. Sweetish flavour with slightly creamy malts, plenty more fruit and a dry finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Pours misted copper-orange with an enduring fine white foam. Exquisite lychee, deep grassy, pineapple and grenadine aroma. Flavour can’t quite match that; brittle, grassy, floral and curry leaf-like with a deep rasp of drying bitterness softened with monkey nut malt to finish. Hints of soap, lavender, resinous pine and earthy nut husk. Comes alive with the bits in; getting tropical fruit and Rich Tea biscuit now. Cask condition from the bottle as always. Top stuff.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham. Spicy, sprucey nose with some fresh mango. Pours hazy gold with a strong tight tan head. Flavour is more of the tropical fruits - papaya and grapefruit dominate - and a balancing bitterness with pine resin notes. Finish is long and dry. Nice.

Courtesy of & thx! to tderoeck. 50 cl. bottle shared. Bottled on 23.04.2013. Drank after the Centennial version – other than the hop the recipe is very clearly identical – not terribly different. Slightly preferred the Centennial one. Pours amber with a reasonably big & slightly fluffy white head. Nose is bit mellower than the Centennial one, mellower pine resin, less grapefruit, light caramel, touch floral,… Taste is fruity grapefruit, mellow pine resin, orange peel, spices, slightly floral, touch tropical fruits & coconut (?). Body is very easy to drink. Also a great summer beer / everyday brew. Nice.

Pretty non-descript aroma, and appearance cloudy straw with little or no head. Slight carbonation with not much else to rave about but a hint of grapefruit and pine. OK but not a strong one from Kernel.

Bottle. Hoppy aroma, but oddly flat finish. Nice flavor but could be balanced better ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by Max prior to our Hill trip. Pours a faintly hazed with a thin white head. Big spicy hops on the nose, lots of pungent citrus and pith. Medium bodied, spicy hop character leading into a bit of grapefruit peel on the finish. Very nice.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is hugely grassy followed by a medium bitter grass hop flavour with some citrus fruit and a little caramel on the palate. Drink fresh and cool for a great refreshing beer. This was a 5.4% version.
