Scopey (8249) - Croydon, Greater London, - OCT 19, 2011
Bottle at the 2nd East Croydon Beer Tasting, thanks to Nate Dawg. It pours hazy golden yellow, with a decent foamy white head. The nose is pine, tangerine, clementine and mango. The taste is tangerine, orange pith, apricot, clementine, light spice and pine, with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and good balance. Yet another good easy drinking APA from Kernel!

Botle at home picked up from Oddbins London Bridge. Translucent golden / light orange coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is dry grassy hop, pithy lemon, tangerine. Flavour is grainy base cereal with pithy citrus, tangerine, little apricot. Firm grassy bitterness. Clean fermentation profile. Palate is very dry, grainy, moderate carbonation. Not one of kernels best.

7/III/15 - on tap @ ACBF 2015 (Vichte) - BB: n/a (2015-319) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!

Clear pale milky yellow beer, irregular creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lemony, bit soapy, like dish wash soap with lemon aroma, floral, little herbal. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very soapy, citrus, floral, notes, bit funky. Aftertaste: little bitter, citrus, funky touch, grapes, bit weird. Not bad, but weird.

Drank this one at the Alvinne Craft Beer festival 2015. Murky, cheesy and a bit sweaty hop. Strange.
