50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via The Dram Shop. Very hazy gold, verging on a pale orange. Citrus aroma, orange rind and lime with a very faint resin. Quite smooth, minimal carbonation, some sweetness comes through, honey, then a long but muted coriander and clove finish.

Leighton (18695) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2011
Bottle at home in London. Pours a glowing, lightly cloudy orange-gold with a foamy, pure white head. Has a bright, hoppy nose with some tangy citrus and faint, toasty grains. Medium sweet flavor with mild woodiness, orange citrus, sun-kissed malts, very light spiciness. Medium bodies with fine, massaging carbonation. Wonderful balance to finish, some sticky bitterness, light pine, wood, orange and grapefruit, lightly tickling rye, toasty grains. Very refreshing. Superb stuff.

Scopey (12705) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2011
Bottle at the Kernel Brewery. It pours cloudy orange, with a thin foamy white head. The nose is tangerine, orange, grapefruit and some spice. The taste is spice, toast, rye bread, orange and grapefruit, with some light spice in the finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. The rye brings a nice texture to the beer. Well balanced and tasty. I have a feeling we will be seeing more rye appearing in the Kernel beers...!

On tap at the Kernel Brewery, Bermondsey, London, 03.12.11 Pours hazy gold but unlike some of the Kernel beers which appear to almost glow this has a dull sheen about it. Tangy and fruity with a good furry bitterness that ripples across the roof of the mouth, some light spicy touches ad to what is s decent beer. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.8

Bottle at Cafe Oto. Cloudy orange/amber with white fluffy head. Aroma is pine hops, bit of cat pee, touch of grapefruit. Taste has a bit of sour dairy about it and lots of fruity hoppy bitterness. Touch of citrus. Really nice beer.
