Bottle at the 2nd East Croydon Beer Tasting, thanks to Nate Dawg. It pours hazy golden, with a thin bubbly white film. The nose is pine and juicy tangerine, sherbet and mango. The taste is zesty tangerine, pine, resin and grapefruit pith, with a big bitter-dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice.

Bottle from The Kernel. Lots of sediment in the bottle. Colour is hazy amber, not cloudy but has some clarity and a huge white foam head out of the bottle. Nose is citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, lemon, pine, some malty muskiness, Taste is citrus pale ale, with grapefruit, lemon fruitiness and also a touch of bitter lime on the finish. A lot os sweetness, some marmalade and peach. Very good pale ale and one of my favourites from The Kernel.

Bottle from the Kernel. Cloudy orangey Amber colour, nose is hoppy with some sweetish citrus and some floral hints. Taste is hoppy, initially sweet citrus but giving way to a more earthy hop and some malt. Carbonation relatively high for a bitter. Medium to long dry finish.
