Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. 5.1%. Hazy, ginger gold. Trademark Kernel head. Rich, fruity, fusty orange hop. Mango. Pineapple. Biscuit background. Taste is pithy bitter, and a tad overly dry. Super fresh palate. Very crisp. Finishes moderate bitter, with a dry close. Overall a bit dry.

Cloudy orange with white lacing head. Massive mango and tropical fruits on the nose, big fruity flavours... mango, papaya... oranges and lemons... tropical and citrus bitterness. Smooth carbonation and satisfying mouthfeel. The Kernel don’t seem to put a foot wrong when it comes to pale ales.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of citrus, juicy peach and some floral notes. Flavour of pale malts, strong citrusy hops, peppery spiciness, grapefruit and mild yeastiness. Medium bodied, low-ish carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Best before date was three weeks ago, so this isn’t as fresh anymore, yet it has no significant defects. Good.

On tap @Cimmeria. Citrus, herbal, some fruity aromas. Pours plae gold, hazy, with frothy white head, persistent, good lacing. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is citrusy, some grape and caramel, some peachy flavours. Smooth and drinkable, maybe some more carbonation and/or body appreciated.
