330 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of citrus, juicy peach and some floral notes. Flavour of pale malts, strong citrusy hops, peppery spiciness, grapefruit and mild yeastiness. Medium bodied, low-ish carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Best before date was three weeks ago, so this isn’t as fresh anymore, yet it has no significant defects. Good.

On tap @Cimmeria. Citrus, herbal, some fruity aromas. Pours plae gold, hazy, with frothy white head, persistent, good lacing. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is citrusy, some grape and caramel, some peachy flavours. Smooth and drinkable, maybe some more carbonation and/or body appreciated.

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como; bottled 05.07.13, bb 05.11.13
Hazy pale blond color with medium sized frothy head. The aroma is hoppy and delicate. The mouthfeel is lean and very dry; it has less spicy character than another similar beer tasted side to side (The Kernel Pale Ale Cascade), but a better hop impact, with nice tropical notes (pineapple, passion fruit…).
Very pleasant and still quite fresh.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy amber body with a huge white head. Light carbonation and lacing marks. Aroma of grass and strawberry. Flavours is quite dull and chalky, but lime and kiwi notes come through. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation. Lacking the usual Kernel intensity of aroma and flavour, but nice all the same.

Bottle from Cornelius. New Kernel PA combo.. excellent. Cracking the bottle immediately produces a heavenly fruit aroma. Muddy orange with small head. Big big fruit nose. Tangerine, blood orange, grapefruit, pineapple. Not that funky for a Kernel. Palate is way wrong though. Foamy, dry. Strange and unexpected. Thankfully taste is top although oddly boozy for 5.3%. Orange, pineapple, sherbet. Not much hop bitterness on the end but not sweet at all neither. Damn that foaminess.

Hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is very fruity - peach and orange, floral hops. Taste is well balanced, sweet a first with a medium pine/resin bitter finish. Oily texture, medium carbonation. Really nice pale ale.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours clear amber, nice medium foam white head. Nose is citrus, light grapefruit, orange citrous, honeyish, lemon, pine, some tropical fruit juice, sherberty. Taste is surprisingly grainy, grain husky, lemon citrous, peachy, pine, hop bitter, sherberty. Almost a golden ale with some exotic hops. Bit more subtle than many.
