Keg @ The Clerkenwell Share. Palate cleanser. Gold pour with an eggshell white head. Nice bright nose. Freshly-tilled garden. Mountain meadow. Flowery hoppiness. Taste of mellow sherbet, grapefruit meat. Accetns of earthy florwers. Lovely delicate hoppiness. Somewhat chalky. Light and easy to drink. Active carbonation.

Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. 5.1%. Hazy, ginger gold. Trademark Kernel head. Rich, fruity, fusty orange hop. Mango. Pineapple. Biscuit background. Taste is pithy bitter, and a tad overly dry. Super fresh palate. Very crisp. Finishes moderate bitter, with a dry close. Overall a bit dry.

Cloudy orange with white lacing head. Massive mango and tropical fruits on the nose, big fruity flavours... mango, papaya... oranges and lemons... tropical and citrus bitterness. Smooth carbonation and satisfying mouthfeel. The Kernel don’t seem to put a foot wrong when it comes to pale ales.
