500 ml bottle, best before 22.02.13 at tasting on 18 November 2012. Usual Kernel hazy straw/pale gold colour. Quite restrained for a Kernel but none the worse for that. Decent grassy and leafy hop character throughout. Very fresh and tangy. Hints of grapefruit and peach/apricot. Finishes just a touch sweet for my taste.

Bottle at the DISOB tasting, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light and floral. The flavour is medium bitter, grassy, clean and super refreshing with a nice grassy bitter finish. A super session beer.

Pours a hazy orange gold that would have been clearer if I hadn’t added the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is orange pine and a touch of grapefruit, sweeter than usual, very pleasant. Taste goes more into the Grapefruit zone with still some pine, fresh hop, bit more citrus and some pineapple as well which adds to the sweetness that is more than usual and lovely in my opinion. Mouth feel was incredible, so smooth soft and full for the style. This was a bit sweet and rich for the style but I loved it as I thought it was balanced and beautiful.

Keg @ The Holborn Whippet. The pour’s a slightly hazy gold color with a small white head. The nose is tree bark, resin, some watermelon, mint, and tropical fruits. The taste is wonderfully vivid tropical fruit salad, salty mojito, cedar wood and a bit of chalky cheese. Dry finish. Wonderfully flavorful. Overall, pretty excellent.

Craft Clarkenwell. Keg. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Smooth palate with mild carbonation. Lovely fresh hops - semi sweet pine and grapefruit with a little orange and a whisper of lemon. Quite a sweet pale ale. The flavours are in good balance. Hugely drinkable. Lovely.
