Bottle. Hazy gold with a white foam. Aromas are mango with pineapple and floral, woody pine. Herbal, spicy and juicy with leafy notes and mellow grapefruit. Flavours are sweet, juicy tropical fruit with lightly pithy grapefruit and background biscuit. Piney with a resinous finish. Nice.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from the brewery. I usually love simcoe and this beer has all the usual elements I normally get from it. Itís just missing that key bitterness to balance out the sweetness of all the fruits this hop gives off. Just ok

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
5.2% version. Bottle from the brewery drunk at home. Cloudy hazy dirty amber brown with lasting off white head. Reasonably strong Simcoe aroma. Reasonably firm in the mouth. Some bitterness on the finish. Not exactly cat pee but it does remind me of a very light Weyerbacher Double Simcoe. Itís like lime and grapefruit. Rather subtle, very balanced, poised. Rather good. I like itís in 500ml too as it gives you more chance to sample it. A little sweetish toffee flavour.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled 17/08/13. An orange coloured beer which poured with no head. A lovely fruity orangey hoppy beer. Good pale malts give lovely balance and nil sweetness but itís in no way harsh. Very tasty and so drinkable. Thereís a little bit of a spicy hop hit late on, Lush.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home. 5.4% on the bottle. Slight hazed pour with a golden orange colour with persistent with white head. Aroma is punchy orange blossom, lemon rind with a crisp chalky edge. Flavour is bready malt, but it clears the way for the hops. Hops are more orange and lemon zest. Assertive clean bitterness. Body is smooth mid body oaty. Finish is slight resin pine. Damn tasty beer.
