50cl bottle from the brewery. It pours a mostly clear yellow/golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is hop forward with pine needles and citrus. Some peppery notes as well. Taste is hoppy and grainy with resin, pine and citrus. Body is crisp with good carbonation. Very nice and refreshing.

Tap @ the brewery. Hazy amber color with a beautifully creamy, thick head that stays for the duration of the drink. The nose is is light strawberry and white grape, some salt. The taste is floral dry grassland, skunky and unique. Some Robinson’s fruit squash, light spicy funky yeast and white pepper flakes. Slightly dry on the finish. Light body, easy to drink. Overall, really nice.

[500ml bottle, The Bottle Shop, Canterbury] Pours a hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aromas of tropical fruit and definite blackcurrant edge to it. All fruit on the palate, mango and more dark berry fruits, with a limey finish. Really drinkable, great bitter dry end to it after the fruity start. Another winner from Kernel (I just cut and paste that sentence these days) [04062011]

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2012 7th December 2010 Cloudy amber beer. Residual white head. I think Evin said this was Nelson Sauvin, Pacific Gem and Motueka. Well I reckon it’s that chameleon like Nelson that provides a sweet blackcurrant nose, nice! Palate is light and a touch crisp but the carbonation is actually low. Light malt base, mild cream provides good support for delicious hops. Sweetish mild blackcurrant, with traces of orange and grape. Some mild minerals before the dry finish. Mildly bitter aftertaste. A joy of a beer. Would love to see Kernel go DIPA or IIPA with this!
2nd July 2012 Keg at the Rake. 5.8%. Cloudy amber beer, little white head. Smooth palate, mildly crisp. Tangy fruits. Floral tangerine, mild Nelson Sauvin like skunk. Very mild grapefruit and a whisper of lime. Dry finish. Really good stuff - please go DIPA with this.

Beautiful amber colour and long-lasting off white head. Delicious citrus/mango aroma. You can taste the fruit with good bitter overtones.
Excellent beer from this small brewer - bought from Bottle Shop in Canterbury.

Bottle from Kris Wines, London, shared with Slothez prior to The Fall gig in Holmfirth. Poured a hazy golden colour with a nicely lingering whiteish head.
Cracking hoppage in all areas here, juicy fruit aplenty too. Bitterness spot on. Just so massively drinkable. A shit hot APA, these guys are really delivering some top notch stuff. Bravo!

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2011 Bottle at The Rake. Rich red gold with slight haze. Lasting cream coloured head. Lovely aoma. Love the Nelson Sauvin. Brilliant mouthfeel. Soft and perfect. Lovely and full in the mouth. Seductive and wonderful. That is a joy to drink. Such delicacy. Like being romanced in the most subtle yet devastating way. Brilliant
