Pours a golden orange unclear beer with a good white head. Smells fruity and bit cream. Tastes grapefruit, orange and pretty bitter. Nice! Average carbo, thin body and a very dry texture.

Tap @ The Kernel (Greater London). Hazy yellow/golden with a medium creamy white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is piney with juicy dank hops and some citrus/fruits. Taste is of resinous juicy hops, light citrus and fruity notes. Light sticky bitterness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Fluffy mouthfeel. Dry finish. This is a great Pale Ale. One of the best I’ve tried yet along the best from Hill Farmstead. Incredibly tasty, dangerously drinkable and thirst quenching! So juicy, wow!

Bottle. Hazy gold with a bubbly white foam. Aromas are mango and lime with pine and light grapefruit. Trace mushroom (again) with yeast and sudsy oranges. Flavours are tropical fruit with grapefruit bitterness and bready yeast with lemon. Grassy with a spritzy finish. Very good.

Keg @ Tapped, Leeds. My notes say: "rubbish". From memory this had a pretty dulled, old citrus feel. Perhaps I need to try this in bottle.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Cloudy, pale gold. Thin, broken, filmy, white head. Juicy grapefruit. Tangerine. A light, freshly sawn, pine wood character. Mouthwatering. Taste is all that, but with more of the woody thing coming through. Light carbonation helps pronounce the juiciness. Finish is a bitterness that lasts, but also mellows. Corker.

Delicious. Lovely hop aromas, well balanced flavour, bitterness just about right, for me. I agree, perhaps somewhat thin but I’m being picky. Very tasty, I’ll have another. From cask at The Pelt Trader - served in superb condition.
