Citrus smell & taste - lemons & limes with some bubble gum undertones. The finish is long & sharp. A lovely hop - let's hope it gets a name & goes mainstream soon! Rated by BrewTom

Beese (1784) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2014
Draught at the Euston Tap, London on 28 March 2014. Poured a cloudy golden colour, with a thin, white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, lemon sherbet and straw. Interesting flavour profile; very juicy tropical fruits, mango and bready malt. Finish was building dryness from the hops, with some sweet malty balance.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. And also on keg at the Euston Tap. Pours lightly hazy, yellow-gold, effervescent, with a staunch, lasting white froth head. The nose is very inviting, with notes of lemon and tangerine, some pee, pale malts, pine needles. Light to medium sweet flavor with lightly sticky, ripening citrus fruits, vaguely doughy pale bread, some bitter pine, orange rind. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with further piney bitterness, slight flinty minerals, dry pale bread, ripening orange and tangerine with hints of pithy grapefruit. A solid venture, this. Very drinkable.
