Backlog rating. Keg at the brewery tap room, London. It pours a slightly hazy apricot color with a medium white head. Aroma is intensely hoppy, on the fresh fruity side, with notes of citrus peel, tangerine, mango, ripe apricots, grass, orange marmalade. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with notes of mango, apricots, pine cones, grapefruit, citrus leaves, grass. Finishes quite dry and bitter with resinous hops. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, really good

From a 50cl bottle. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Carbonation is very soft. Aromas of lime and gooseberry. The taste has that characteristic Kernel malt character - quite biscuity and sweet. Plenty of brisk bitterness with a pleasant zesty, grapefruity finish. A very pleasant IPA with all those American hop flavours. Well balanced and a satisfactory alcohol strength to give a good mouth-filling quality. A very nice pale ale.

Bottle from the brewery. Rich golden amber, light white fluffy foam head. Nose is lots of lime and grapefruit, flinty mineral, bit of oily petrol fumes, softer mango fruit. Taste is bitter hop, flinty mineral, lime bitter, acidic hop, grapefruit. It’s an acidic, strong bitter hop. On the finish it’s got a lime and kerosine like lingering aroma on the tongue. It’s a strong bitter hop which is acidic and very bitter.

Citrus smell & taste - lemons & limes with some bubble gum undertones. The finish is long & sharp. A lovely hop - let's hope it gets a name & goes mainstream soon! Rated by BrewTom

Draught at the Euston Tap, London on 28 March 2014. Poured a cloudy golden colour, with a thin, white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, lemon sherbet and straw. Interesting flavour profile; very juicy tropical fruits, mango and bready malt. Finish was building dryness from the hops, with some sweet malty balance.
