Bottle from the Kernel Brewery. Gusher! It pours clear golden yellow, with a thick white head and some suspended particles. The nose is dough, spice, floral, tangerine, orange and banana. The taste is dough, spice, tangy orange, tangerine, grapefruit, herbal and grassy notes, with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent.

0.33 L bottle from the brewery. Cloudy yellow-golden body. Low blond top. Nice spicy and grassy nose with a fresh funky scent. Dryish, light sourish-sweet and spiced up malt flavor. Some fine fruity hop tones too, providing a crisp and clean mouthfeel. An interesting take on a Saison. Very moreish, very quenching.

From brewery. Colour is amber haze, white head. Nose is pungent yeasty, lemon citrous, banana, fruity, farmhousey and something a bit eggy, sulphurous. Taste is yeasty, citrus, fruity and a trace of that egginess again. Good though not perfect.

The best Saison yet from Sir Kernel. Balanced. Crisp. Tight. Like a young buck on the run through a spring field if virgin daisies. Yummy! -- raided in the wild, via Beer Buddy app

Bottle from CPK. Hazy golden color with a massive eggshell white head. Pretty. The nose is moldy white grape. Some dry wood, straw. Hints of sulphur. The taste is yeasty cheese. More white grape. Some natural buggy flavors. Lemon rind and bark. This beer’s mildly acidic. The body’s medium, active carbonation. The sour, funky flavors of this beer are certainly something to be mulled over, but this doesn’t quite do it for me. Still, it’s another admirable effort from these fine brewers.
