UPDATED: APR 14, 2011 Bottle at the Rake. Clear copper thin beige head. Decent simcoe aroma. Even a bit of funk. Not sure. Bit hard in the mouth. You do get that with American style ipa. Very hard candy. Tastes its strength too. Its cool, if a tad hard 3.3/5. Re-rate at Bottle Shop Canterbury. 7.4% abv. Gorgeous simcoe aroma. Some creamy vanilla in the mouth. Light bitterness on the finish. Touch of sweet alcohol.

Pours a cloudy orange colour with a big frothy beige head. Aroma is heavy in citrus hops along with apricot and peach scents. Taste has a light sweetness throughout with an underwhelming bitterness. Lighter body, thinner mouth feel, reasonable carbonation

jamestulloch (478) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 30, 2013
Aroma: Orange, lime, grapefruit, lychee, biscuit and pine.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a think white head. No visible carbonation. Great lacing.

Taste: Tastes like two-day old fruit salad - juicy and delicious. Orange, hints of mango and a light woody flavour. Dangerously drinkable for 6.7% ABV.

Palate: Medium body with an oily mouthfeel, Soft carbonation prickle.

Overall: A very fruity IPA. Surprisingly smooth and drinkable for its strength.

I’m sorry. A nice hurt? The Widowlickers? Foetus Eaters? Life’s certainty? Dribbling Cabbages?

Svesse (5207) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUN 3, 2012
(Bottle) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, passion-fruit, apricots, resin, Seville orange and lots of hops. Fruity, malty, hoppy taste with orange peel, caramel, marmalade, grapefruit, dried apricots and generous amounts of citric, resinous hops in a long, fairly bitter finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Very tasty and in very good balance. Excellent beer.

Bottle at home Cloudy orange with orange aroma and flavour. Plenty of bitterness but the malt is there for balance.

DruncanVeasey (6116) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2011
330ml bottle. Clouded orange with a fine low head. Overripe melon, red apple, violets and strawberry chews aroma. Floral and discreetly tropical taste with Jelly Tot and fizzy mango/guava notes, some peppery alcohol, a building bitterness softening into husk and faint biscuit. Another Kernel brew humming with the simple pleasures of The Hop.

Bottle in July at the bar of St Johns London Slight haze and lots of yeast sediment. Small head that dissipates with good lace. Pine ripe citrus and grapefruit aroma. Slightly sticky and fairly sweet. Mildly astringent and dry. Perfectly balanced. Excited to have found this at
