Bottle. Pure gold with a royal white head. Fairly mild citrus aroma. Grapefruit, sweet tropical fruit, cereal malts. Light bodied, but this has amazing flavours and depth for a beer of 3%. Could drink this all day.

500 ml Bottle from Glug in the Grainger Market Newcastle. Served cool in an English pint sleeve. Apricot Jam aroma. Pours Hazy orange with a thick white head. Big juicy marmalade on crusty Brown bread flavour. Something else... sports biscuits and paracetamol? Lovely bitter-sweetness. Medium bodied. Slick texture, gentle carbonation. Long astringent finish. Relatively low ABV not a noticeable issue in this beer. Properly refreshing full flavoured IPA.

Bottle. An off-white head of moderate size forms over an almost clear dark golden body. The aroma is pretty dull, would expect more from it for sure. Pine cones and orange peel. A faint maltyness too. The flavor has some malts in the back, with oranges and pine cones up front. Lacks on bitterness I think. Medium to thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Mostly bitter finish. An easy drinkable beer I could definitely have every now and then, for instance while mowing the lawn or showelling snow. 140315

Bottle (330 ml). Sligthly hazy bright golden/orange with a huge ever lasting white head and intense lacing. Aroma is mild, there’s notes of citrus, mangos, herbs and light malt. Taste is of citrus, tropicals fruits herbs, light but perfect malt backbone and a light bitter finish. Light body (not weak though). Good carbonation. Slightly dry finish. Great balance. Tasty while being amazingly drinkable. I love this beer!

On tap at the Pint Shop, Cambridge on 19th February 2014. Hazy gold with off-white film and pattern lacing. Fine grapefruit aroma. Exquisite in-mouth: delicate yet rich grapefruit and grassiness meet delicate berry fruits. Grapefuit citric tanginess in a fruity finish, on a crisp, zingy mouthfeel and with medium body. Superb!

500 ml bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a nonic pint glass. Bottled on 28-11-2013 (Simcoe Hops). Pours dark yellow/pale orange, crystal clear, with a tiny slightly off-white head. Still fresh aroma of grapefruits, peach, some other tropical fruits and pine/resin. Great level of bitterness, a bit of astringency, and a nice dryness. Bitter citrusy aftertaste, with just a small hint of malt backbone. For a 3% it’s fantastic, no trace of a watery body, no trace of a underwhelming taste, just perfect. Spot-on carbonation and creamy texture. Gimmie more!
