Cask and bottle; Regular
A bitter with an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop aroma. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruit notes alongside subtle undertones of roasted flavours. Known as Bluestone Bitter in England and Cwrw Gorslas in Wales.

Bottle. Amber brown with an off white foam. Weetabix malts with earthy apple and a light black tea nuttiness. Some lemon with a light, roasted and toast character. Nice palate. Decent bitter.

500m. In a pint. This won a CAMRA gold medal in 2011 , which is mad crazy. This beer is a soulless malty Bitter . Notes of nutty peanut shells , caramel, earthy resin hops , buttercotch, vanilla . its easy to drink but dull as fucken hell.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival ’15. Amber with white head. This proved to be a really simple malty bitter, reasonably dry, leafy, earthy hop note in the background. It’s okay.

3rd beer in my ’home alone’ tasting evening on 14th Mar 2015. 500ml bottle poured into a UK pint sleeve, it looked lovely, a clear light amber body with a full and lasting white foamy head. Malty based nose with a splattering of hoppiness easing into the aroma: the taste similar. The malts do rule the flavours but only just, this is nicely balanced and easy to drink. Another winner from Wales!

Cask at the Eli Jenkins, Swansea as ’Cwrw Gorslas’. Short review due to bar conversation. Pretty clear amber, small foamy white head, very thick full lacing. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is fruity, resin, soft bitterness.

Goden colour with a thin head - steady carbonation when poured - sweet pleasant aroma, refreshing yet no great lasting taste

Cask @ No Sign Bar, Swansea. Pours copper with a bit of head. Aroma of crystal malt and blueberries. Sweet fruity but balanced initial taste which is followed by a bitter finish. Pleasant lingering aftertaste. Refreshing but not so much flavour.

Cask at the Hen Orsaf, Aberystwyth. A pretty standard tasting bitter. A touch of sweetness with some biscuit and caramel flavours, but nothing to make it stand out from the crowd.
