Tap at the brewpub. Clear light golden pour with a small but clingy white head. Grain and cracker. Hints of hop bitterness. Slightly sweet. Pretty solid for the style.

Light yellow pour with no head. Refreshing lager. Nothing special. Grain and earth taste. Had this poured from draft at Lucky Monk in Barrington.

An actually good american version pils. Bready notes, missing most of the flaws of an american pils.

On tap at the brewpub, pours a crystal clear yellow with a thin bubbly head, aroma and flavor was pretty straight away with a little bit of zest, but really not a whole lot there, mouthfeel was crisp and clean, easy drinking, nothing crazy.

Has very light wheat/grain scents. Taste is really light, just a roasted grain. It's alright, really drinkable.

A decent Pilsner. Pours a clean gold with 2 fingers of white head. Nose and taste are of a BMC pilsner with a boost. Nothing special but better than the cheaper alt.

Tap sample. Poured clear amber color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting and good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid brew.

Sampler at Lucky Monk. Looks good: golden and clear of particles. A thin ring of foam around the glass. Pils malty comes in nicely, but over a slight tinge of lager yeast. I think the malt is proper for a well-tuned Pilsener. And hop use really matches well: Nobles, mostly, with a peppery and spicy bite and an understated bitterness. I like this just as much as the Haymarket Speakerwagon. I’d call this more of a German Pils while the Haymarket was a Czech pils. I think. A bit maltier, at least.
