Received in a tulip from tap. 3.25 A: Clear straw color. Came without a head. 3.5 S: Tangy funkiness - garbage, sweat socks. Supposedly brewed with ginger, but I only get a hint. 3.25 T: Mildly sour. More funky. Garbage, tangy lactic acid. Again ginger is slight. 3.5 M: Lighter body. Good moderate carbonation with light creaminess. 3.25 D: It’s good, but could use more funky bite. ★ 399 characters DavoleBomb, May 05, 2015

Pours a cloudy pale golden color with a white head. Tart fruity aroma with citrus and horse blanket. Bubbly mouthfeel. Flavor is tart fruity start with lemon zest and funky yeast finish. Easily the best Berliner Weisse I’ve had.

Keg at Edmunds Oast House, Charleston, 18/02/15. Clear pale golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is pissy tones, spice, lemon peel, straw, musty wood. Taste comprises lemon jus, light balsa wood, faint acidity, on the turn watermelon. Light in body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough refreshment for the ABV.

Taste is straightforward Berliner with lemon, cereal, pale grain, cream of wheat. Palate is ultra light. Drinkable and true to style. Unfortunately, no ginger or red pepper.
