500ml bottle from Cornelius. Pours murky brown with a short-lived white head. Aromas of coffee, banana, phenols, almost peaty. Candi sugar and spice behind it all. Taste is fennel, spice, sweet banana. Medicinal, Swarfega in fact. Weird. Light sweet finish.

Aroma: zesty, phenols, funky, salty, ginger, bananas. Appearance: hazy golden color and nice white head. Taste: cloves, bananas, funky, salty, phenols, lots of iron, semi-sweet/semi-dry, some fruity notes combined with ginger. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, salty finish. Overall: F&^king mad beer, interesting experience.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy orange body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Aroma of orange pith, sugar, apricot and spice. Flavour of blueberries, nettles, mashed strawberries and a hint of ginger. Thin body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Unusual and tasty.

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden coloured hue with particles floating around and a medium-sized and minimally off-white foamy head. Yeasty, barnyardy and delicately wheaty aroma with slightly fruity notes, ginger and herbal spice, as well as traces of urine. Mildly bitter and delicately sour flavour, rather slim bodied with a surprisingly tame carbonation. Slim and delicately bready malty and slightly wheaty base with present spicy notes of ginger and garden herbs, also a subtle fruity touch; almost dry, spicy and delicately fruity and sour finish. Lacks acidity and is way too spicy for my taste, wouldn´t have liked it even if the recipe was from 1000 BC. 06.V.15

500ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is juniper berry and ginger. Taste is spicy with a malty sweetness and a herbal, grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, an interesting ale which is oddly good.

From WLVL. Weird, but I liked it. Spice mix was really all over the place. Might be a good winter beer? I’m going to give this one the benefit of the doubt. Serving; bottle

500 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister, thanks!
Amber, hazy body, with a medium, frothy, off-white head.
Aroma of spices, soap, *kanal*, banana, wheat.
Taste is quite light, with spices, bread, banana, some sweet malts.
Medium mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes soft, sweet, spicy, a bit fruity.

Boring. Nose is pretty strange, taste is better, but quite flat. Not my cup of tea.

500ml bottle from trade with Erzengel, many thanks. Shared by 2 with Saeglopur. Did not find the BB date on this one. ABV 6,5%. yellow hazy color, small off-white head. smells reminds me of the soap at 80s 1* hotels, not a pleasant reminder :P some spices, smell not very good. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. taste of spices, some sweetness, soap smell again but less strong than on the smell, fruity notes, peach. finishs with soap notes and light fruits. very weird one, unfortunatly it was hard to avoid the smell, taste is a bit better, but also not so pleasant.

sample at mondial de la bière 2015, mtl. almost cloudy golden grey-ish with a reviving off-white cap, minimal retention and lacing. banana breadiness, peppery and clovey, obvious wheat, some rustic grains, berry fruitiness, ginger, mint, grass, hefe yeast, sulfur traces. average carbonation, light body - slightly watery; dry bretty-peppery finish. decently spiced - never overdone. unique. nice wheaty and spiced hefe-brett duet. enjoyed.

Poured from a tap. Clear copper color, extended carbonation built up to the top, medium white head. No aroma. Light body with a mild fruit flavor and a watery finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
