3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer is brewed by and for the Gollem bars in Amsterdam. Could be a tourist trap or another method to make more money. But the Gollem bars belong to the best beer bars in the Netherlands and it would be a sham if it was like this. And I can assure you - they know that people want good beers? This one is incredibly smooth with a slight citric hop note and a subtle bitterness. It’s somehow yeasty but very enjoyable.
True, the Gollem Blond is a bit mainstream, but it’s incredibly smooth and a perfect summer terrace beer despite it’s 7%. I’m positively surprised!
