Bottle. [thanks ccskou]
Pours deep ruby red with a brown chestnut edge. Small, creamy, off-white head. Lovely fruity and malty aroma, red currants, peach, strawberry, vinious, some bit of port. Lowish carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is vinious, strawberries, caramel, red currants. Belgian sugar aplenty. Fine beer.

Bottle at the "Colin and the Vikings tasting, Goteborg". Poured a clear medium brown with no life. The aroma is sweet yeast and tropical fruit. The flavour is medium sweet with a treacle toffee caramel yeast alcoholic palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation.Sweet oily mouthfeel. A little too sweet for me.

(Bottle) Nut brown colour, slightly hazy, with brief frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with caramel, dark fruit, prunes, raisins, dark bread, brown sugar and a slight touch of oxidization. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, prunes, raisins, brown sugar, caramel, crisp-bread, chestnut honey, chocolate, a touch of ripe banana and a sweet finish with fairly low bitterness and a warming touch of alcohol. Almost full body, well rounded with alcohol in the background. Fairly sweet. A bit one dimensional, but tasty and quite nice.

Assaggiata in bottiglia da 75cl. Colore ambrato veramente bello. L’aroma è complesso ma a volte risulta troppo evidente l’alcool. Malto e caramello risultano i sapori più evidenti anche se si avverte la liquirizia. Piacevolmente bevibile.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, dusty hops, and caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, prunes, malt, caramel, alcohol, and a bit of dusty hops, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.
