It’s all in the name! Single hopped with Galaxy Hops, our American Pale Ale is equistely dry and balanced by the tropical fruit from the Galaxy Hops. Sessionable at 6.2% Abv.

Draft at Peekskill. Pale gold pour, big beautiful white head. Nose and flavor are absolutely divine, with huge mango, pineapple, peach, kiwi, and pine bitterness. Clean, lean, and very drinkable, medium body, soft carb. I love this hop varietal so much. Outstanding stuff.

Hazy orange body, medium sized white head and soapy lacing. Nose shows tropical fruits--guava, pineapple, mango--as well as some grapefruit and dank resin. Flavor is similar, but also includes a vegetal, green component that I wasn’t really digging. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and assertive bitterness. Semi-dry throughout. While this offering gets a lot of praise, and I certainly dig the stuff Peekskill puts out, this didn’t hit it out of the park for me.

32 oz growler. The beer is a dull pale gold. Nice-sized head, white. Just an aside, but the head barely kicked up on the first pour from the growler but came on strong on subsequent pours. The aroma is full of sweet citrus hoppiness, big on pineapple and tangerine. Some pine, blackberry, melon, grapefruit. Good stuff. In line with other tropical citrus hoppy beers, but it seems a bit spicier, maybe more acidic. A touch of simple malt sweetness in the background. Gentle bitterness in the taste. Solid hop flavors. Citrus rind, pine, melon. Very flavorful without any bland bitterness but still clean and refreshing. Carbonation seems normal, though the beer has some nice body. Some mineral flavor. Seems like another hoppy beer with water dialed in right. It’s light but creamy and packs in the hops. Good stuff.

Growler from brewery. Pours a slightly opaque orange, decent size white head. Aroma is big guava, cantaloupe, tropical fruits, bready malt, faint pine, citrus, grass. Flavor is gooey melon, bready pale malt, light bitter on backend. Light/med mouthfeel, avg carbonation. Really nice APA.

On draft. No aroma. Nice lacing. Cloudy copper color. Flavors are muted and dank. Some lemon. Bitter finish that sweetens toward grapefruit as the beer warms.

ticked at the source, this one is great. Your contender for the big pale ales, tons of hop flavor without the bitterness, making it the good new pale ales. Very nice.

Nice pale ale on tap at the brewery. Aroma is fresh cut grass, citrus , and light grape. Taste is very lightly sweet and refreshing with crisp fresh tasting galaxy hops. Finish has very little bitterness. Nice beer.

Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color. Nice tropical fruits up front with added complexities of citrus pith and subtle pine. Nice juicy mouthfeel with a clean bitterness on the finish.

Taster at Blind Tiger. Yellow-gold with slight head, good retention. Aroma is lovely tropic dankness, juicy pineapple syrup, mangos, fresh pine. Taste is beautiful balance of tropical fruit and pine with an outstanding creamy mouthfeel given the low ABV. Low carbonation. Slightly vegetal. Bitterness grows with a few sips and detracts slightly.

Tap at Peekskill. Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma of dank hops, a little sweat as well. Smells like it’s ready for a pounding. Taste brings some funky hops with decent straw malt support. Some grapefruity flavors as well coming out. Pretty dry on the palate along with good carbonation. Finish is citric bitter with a slight lingering graininess. Peekskill in general hits a lot of my current tastes and this is no exception. Really well done pale ale.
