4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 j12601 (5652) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 14, 2012On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Big fat citrus, dripping mango, tropical fruit, pineapple and caramel. Big hoppy start, medium bodied, bready, malt, and a very quick bitterness and then it falls away to nothing. Sort of a like a big IPA that turns quickly into an easy drinking sessionable pale ale. Smooth and tasty, it does pick up a touch of cattyness toward the end I think, but it’s quite delicious.

Growler thanks to Rich & Sarah. Fresh blast of grapefruit-infused hops in the nose. Your swear they used Citra hops if they didn't advertise otherwise. A touch malty on the palate, super smooth start to finish. Creamy and drinkable. Totally lives up to its name.
