2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the brewpub. Pours faint yellow with small soapy head. Nose is lemony and grains. Tatars of lemon peel, grainy, corn, dusty, and herbal tea. Very thin palate. Boring brew head down the road to Newburgh for better cream ales

On tap at the brewery. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of light pale malts, some light bread and toast, and hints of hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. A solid beer for the style.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Growler poured from the tap at the source. Transparent amber, well carbonated. Pours a smooth white head with little lacing. Smells sweet with a hint of hoppiness and a little citrus. Taste like a beer! It’s not malty, not hoppy, just a nice well rounded beer that you can drink all day long. This is right where a drinking beer should be, refreshing, not understated and not clamboring for attention. Slightly bitter and fruity aftertaste with a hint of vanilla.
In conclusion, a good ballpark beer that will go well with burgers and hot dogs. I’d like to see this one bottled and widely distributed.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 9/20/13
Aroma: The nose is on the light side, grains, malts, some lemon, and a little spice
Appearance: It pours a hazy yellowish color with an average sized white head
Flavor: The taste is similar, clean and malty, with some lemon and spice notes as well
Palate: The body is light-medium and it has a decent mouthfeel to it
I thought this was an okay, fairly unexciting beer. It was probably the least exciting thing I tried at Peekskill, but I can certainly see this one’s purpose. It’s a good stable for the non-sour/hop fans that come in for a visit.
