COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Smooth and CREAM-y! PB’s Cream Ale is light in color and body using Pilsner Malts and Flaked Maize. Palisade Hops give a slight hop character. Enjoy one or two or three of this sessionable brew.

Taster from the taproom. Pours clear yellow with no head. Very light citrus aroma. Taste is light and sparkly. Body is thin. Not enough character for me.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 9/20/13

Aroma: The nose is on the light side, grains, malts, some lemon, and a little spice
Appearance: It pours a hazy yellowish color with an average sized white head
Flavor: The taste is similar, clean and malty, with some lemon and spice notes as well
Palate: The body is light-medium and it has a decent mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: I thought this was an okay, fairly unexciting beer. It was probably the least exciting thing I tried at Peekskill, but I can certainly see this one’s purpose. It’s a good stable for the non-sour/hop fans that come in for a visit.

Tap at the brewery. Pours lightly hazy pale yellow with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is Pils and corn malt, light spicy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Draft. Pours light and clear with a thin white head. Relatively clean and inviting, with light grainy and corny notes, and some light bitter hoppy hints. Uninteresting, but at least inoffensive.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2013 From a cask at PB, where it was called "Brave Ulysses", not CREAM. A soft, fairly light pale ale. It is made with an experimental hop, they said, but did not mention its name. It tastes a bit like an English brew. Pretty good. * RB admin Jay informed me that Brave Ulysses is a dry-hopped version of CREAM, and therefore not really a different release.

Quite tame with mild citrus and tropical notes. Quite a bit of corn coming through; too much for me.
