Draft pour at the Dutch. Orange and cloudy with white and sticky head. Tangerine and orange sweet flavor. Perfect hop and bitterness balance. Delicious

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line:
This sweetish IPA benefits from some tropical hop fruitiness to offset its smooth, biscuity malt presence.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the misty orange.
-A touch of diacetyl appears in the first sniff, but disappears a few moments later.
-Cereals are quite prominent and well developed in this one, which makes me wonder how their Stouts taste like. They must be very enjoyable.
-The flavor profile is balanced from beginning to finish.
-Drinkability is a tad reduced by the sugar content (higher than what I prefer in my IPAs).

4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Currently my favorite IPA of all time. This is an amazingly bold IPA. On the flowery side, not too bitter, not too mild.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Overall this is a nice ipa with lots of citrus fruit and some caramel sweetness. I get orange, grapefruit, lemon, and chewy doughyness. Could have used a bit more mineraly dryness to make it quaffable but i still dig it.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Standard Golden IPA color and minimal head leaves lacing. Very well balanced citrus hop taste. Basically like hight standard just not quite as sweet and a little less bodied.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ Mahoney’s in Poughkeepsie, NY... Poured pale golden/yellow with a thick, fizzy head. Nice tasting IPA compared to the "Western Standard" versions I’m used too. Leafy, earthy bitterness with enough sweetness to balance he hop characters. Clean, easy drinking with malt picking up towards the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Taste at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow gold. Aroma is grassy hops, mango, dank pine, pleasant. Taste is orange juice, grapefruit, lychee, bold piney hop finish. Very good and something I happily drink in NYC when I can find it, but not as impressive as most of Peekskill’s other hoppy beers, I think.

UPDATED: APR 18, 2014 On draft. Faint aroma of citrus. No lacing or bubbles. Flavors of orange backed by mild chocolate malts. Some pleasant bittering on the finish. Nice, crisp, warm-weather IPA!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Murray’s Cheese Bar. Golden beer. Initially appears to be a fairly generic moderately bitter American IPA with not excessive levels of bitterness. That’s pretty much what it is, it is nice enough and well balanced but didn’t hold the attention.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured a nice golden yellow color with aromas of dank hops, citrus and some light pine. Flavors were citrus and light pine a solid west coast ipa that I could crush all day.
