Our standards just happen to be very very high! Warrior, Cacarde, Chinook and Simcoe hops give spectacular flavor and aromatics to this bold IPA sitting at 7.2% Abv.

Tap at Blind Tiger, Nyc. Amber color, good off-white head, lace. Earthy, grassy, piney-hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Citrus-piney hoppyness but also hints of diacetyl in the finish. Earthy, simple but reasonably hoppy ipa.

Cask at the brewery , side by side with the regular version . Pours clear blonde , good white head ( on cask ? ) Taste is very hoppy, lactic , in a way . Thick mouthfeel ( no carbo ) . Would prefer it carbonated , but its a nice beer as it is .

Tap at the brewery . Pours rather clear blonde , small white head . Smell is pine , hops, fruity . Taste is bitter, fruity . Reminds me a lot to Nelson hops , even though they are not in here ...

Truly one of the very best Peekskill beers I have ever had. This one has solid hop flavor. On tap at Ambulance Brew House in Nanuet, took a growler home.

On tap at brewery. Pours a slightly hazy straw with a thin white head. Solid lacing. Nose is hop citrus, pungent. Taste is citrus bitter, grapefruit, nice malt coming through for sweetness at the end, followed by citrus bitter. Could drink this all night. Yummy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light hazy gold with white head. Has Haha sweet citrus hop, pine, and light floral aroma. Has a sweet citrus taste with pines and slowly turns more bitter. Leaves a lingering bitter and dry aftertaste. Wish it had more flavor to go with the aftertaste.

On tap at the source... pours a mistly transparent golden yellow brown hue and topped with a thin creamy white head...soft citrus and tropical fruit, not too juicy but solid... Sweet soft grain textures intermingled with a soft mild tropical citrus fruit essence. Medium bodied with adequate carb. Nice.

Draft pour at the Dutch. Orange and cloudy with white and sticky head. Tangerine and orange sweet flavor. Perfect hop and bitterness balance. Delicious

My Bottom Line:
This sweetish IPA benefits from some tropical hop fruitiness to offset its smooth, biscuity malt presence.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the misty orange.
-A touch of diacetyl appears in the first sniff, but disappears a few moments later.
-Cereals are quite prominent and well developed in this one, which makes me wonder how their Stouts taste like. They must be very enjoyable.
-The flavor profile is balanced from beginning to finish.
-Drinkability is a tad reduced by the sugar content (higher than what I prefer in my IPAs).
