Sampled at the brewery. Pours hazy golden/amber with a lacy white head. Aroma strong of citrusy, fruity, and floral hops with a good amount of pale and caramel malts. Flavor the same. Smoother texture. Good but the malts are a little overpowering.

Growler shared at Craft Ale House. Pours hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose is piney hops, that great tropical fruit medley of grapefruit, mango, and pineapple, and black pepper. Tastes complex, with spare caramel malt, huge tropical fruit, and a complex finish. This one is delicious.

Draft at the brewery, 09/08/2013. Pours radiant pale gold, dense ring of lacing, hazy foam on the surface. Aroma is orange essence, citrus peel and grapefruit, touch of tropical character, earthy hop cone herbal finish. underlying caramel malts support. Taste is bright tangerine, pulpy grapefruit, sweet caramel malts blending with pleasant herbal pine notes. Medium body, not overly resinous, quite drinkable. Really tasty.
