3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep ruby tinged brown with a thin to medium sized white to beige head. Big malt on the nose, very woodsy smelling hop notes. Medium-bodied, sweet caramel, a touch of toffee, cocoa, hints of roast. Gentle but lingering bitterness on the finish. Touches of bitter cocoa, long burnt caramel notes. Easy drinking, nice supple mouthfeel. Very nice stuff.
