4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep dark black with a thin beige head. Lots of roast and a hint of sweet cocoa on the nose. Medium bodied, feels like it should be sweet and boozy, but it isn’t. Rich cocoa and chocolate with just a hint of dark stone fruit. Delicate bitter cocoa and dark chocolate on the finish. 8% and it drinks lore half that. Dangerously good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at blind tiger with max and Andy. Pours a black body with thin off white lacing. Aroma is super rich earthy wood, char, espresso, roast and dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is rich and full with notes of earthy wood, chalk, coffee and sweet chocolate in the finish. Great.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pitch black body, thin light tan head, spotty lacing. Moderate roast and creamy chocolate carry both the nose and the flavor. Medium bodied, smooth and silky as the lagering has done its job. ABV is well-masked, finished with a light earthy bitterness.
