On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy glowing gold with a medium sized white head. Soft pineapple on the nose, taken over by dank earthy citrus, then some tropical fruit picks back up. Medium-bodied, a hit of sweet pineapple, fleshy fruit overtones. Finishes out with some dank earthy hop tones, a slow developing gentle bitterness. Dank and lovely.

Growler from De Cicco Brewster. Pours perfectly clear yellow-gold with a creamy white head. The nose has dry citrus, pith, rind, grapefruit. Light sweet flavor with more grapefruit, white grape, light straw. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, pithy, more grapefruit, passionfruit. Very drinkable.

draft at Peeksill. Really enjoyed this APA. Orange blonde pour, medium bodied. Tropical fruit forward, lots of pineapple. Big fruit, great bitterness. a real winner

Draft at blind tiger with max and Andy. Pours a bright golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is muted overall - some light musky fruit. Mouthfeel is light and almost crisp with notes of funky tropical fruits, vague dank hops, balloons and a floral soapy character. Would love to try this offering straight from the source.

Tap at The Blind Tiger. Flaccid, days old fruit in the aroma, pineapple perhaps, and orange zest, with a bunch of malt sweetness. The flavor is dry, with really very influence from the tropical fruit that is supposed to define this beer. It’s not that I want juice--more that the fruit hardly exists at all. This is backed up by tight NZ hops, a medium body, and a bit of a oatmeal character.
