Aroma is roasty with wom dark chocolate and molasses. Taste is smooth and sweet, not much detectable raisins but it has a hint of fruity sweetness. Solid beer.

On a nitro tap at the Peekskill Brewery. Pours a jet black with a thick mocha head. Oat and roast malt on the nose, with a hint of coffee. There is a touch of raisin, though I have a feeling if I hadn’t known there were raisins in it, I might not have picked up on it. Novel idea though. Creamy body and a bit thin. Finishes with a light lingering bitterness.
