@ The Ginger Man à Manhattan. Une bière jaune avec un peu de mousse. Un simple avec du jus de citron. Elle est peu lactique et passablement facile pour ce type de bière car l’acidité n’est pas tranchante. Facile et sèche.

Tap at Ginger Man. Pastel pale yellow, cloudy. Wheaty, lactic nose, some tart lemon, bread, and yogurt. Lemon and wheat flavor, some milk. East and simple.

The beer is a pale, dull yellow. Moderately hazy. Smallish white head. Fades fairly quickly. Fine bubbles, kinda fizzy. The aroma is a mix of light stone fruit, fresh malt sweetness and yogurt tang. Mild peach and apricot, a bit floral. Nice honeyish grain flavor with a little wheat character. The brett seems more fruity than funky. Lacto sourness. The lactic tang takes more of a front seat, but it’s a still pleasant interplay of that sour note and fruity grain sweetness. Lots of nice stuff going on. Creamy mouthfeel. Some body to the beer. Kinda reminds me of Off Color Scurry without quite as much wheatiness. Very easy to drink. Refreshing. Interesting flavor with a good mouthfeel.

Yummy. On tap at my favorite spot. Great hit on the nose. I struggled a bit with the palate, but did seek out a cherry right before the sour hit. Damn good!

This sour most certainly had some off putting aromas upfront and a weird after taste at the end. The middle was pretty good though. The beer starts with a dirty sock smell. The flavor is sweet, slightly tart, lots of apple. The finish is almost like I ate some Doritos, drank a beer, and burped it all up.

Growler - Pours a pale yellow in color with a medium bright white head that faded quickly. True to style... sour, lemony aroma and flavor. Mildly sour, not overwhelming. Mild fruit... Finish is acetic and clean... Good!

Tap pour. Cloudy, light yellow with white head. Sour lemon and wet stone on nose. Inviting. Lemon tang, semi-sour body. Fun lactic notes. Just a touch of funk. Mild tropical fruit on finish. Tasty.

Very reminiscent of a berliner and dont really see the difference. Nice refreshing lemony tartness and a mineral water tang that almost comes off a bit gose like. Really drinkable and im digging all the 4-5% beers that these guys role out.
