The hibiscus and the tang from the barrels add such a nice deep aroma, the flavor is spot on, it’s like going back to Belgium, without all the cost.

Hazy golden in color... Aroma of citrus, pineapple, pears... Flavor is light and fruity initially, notes of airy cotton candy in the middle, tropical fruits, light tartness on palate... Amazing ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The was sampled at the Kick Starter event for the Humboldt Cider Company to get their new tasting room completed. Pour was a golden color with a tiny white head and and light lacing rings. Nose of sour funk with some citrus and fruit. Medium in body the mouth feel is lively. Flavor is citrus, with lots of sourness. Sour finish but lots of flavor stays to the end. Very nice.

GABF 2014 Rating (Denver, CO). Pours a nice glowing fiery golden hue with pinkish bright glow, faint haze but near transparent. Frothy whitish head atop stays as a nice filmy layer, good lacing and stick around. Aromas are lactic and sour, lemon and yogurt meet some nice acidity, gentle earthy and florals, tart hibiscus, sour fruit. Touches of earth, bread, tropical fruit. Initial is a bit fruity, tropical with touches of florals, lemon, white grape and citrus. Some lactic elements, mellow funk moves into a tart hibiscus synergy. Middle is bready, oaky, some white wine with decent bitter earth and floral with touches of earth, yogurt, white grape. Some nice fruit and hop character with citrus, floral and gentle apple and pear. Finish is dry, a bit bitter and sour. Nice stuff. Potent sourness, easy to put back, well crafted.
