A- pours a murky and ruddy copper with a very small off white head and no lacing. S- brett, strawberry compote and hard candies, balsamic vinegar, filo with refined sugar, cheese funk, corn, sour cream, oak and a faint must. Strawberries seem a little indifferent and stubborn all at the same time. M- light to medium sticky and acetic body. Light carb and light alcohol. T- tart sugar dipped berries, lemon, cherries and unripe white grapes make up a sharp start. Middle shows strawberries and gets oaky and funky with a hearty vinegar. Ending is full of vinegar and balsamic and the strawberry character grows more prominent. Some butter. Lightly bitter and efficient conclusion.

On tap at Stone Sour Fest 2014. Reddish copper pour, with an off white head. Fruity, oak, strawberry, sourness, vinegar, and sweetness. Lots of strawberry, oak, and vinegar. Good, but not fantastic.

Draft. Pours reddish brownish amber with small white head. Aroma is pleasant but muted strawberry, sour cherry, light red wine, balsamic. Taste is cidery strawberry, orange, lemon, somewhat watery mouthfeel and quick finish. Refreshing but not so complex.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy copper with a lacy white head. Aroma of sourness, light oak, strawberries, some pale malts, and light fruits. Flavor the same with an awesome blend of everything. Average texture. A really good beer.

Muddy brown body, reminiscent of pond water. Slight soapy head. Good tart flavor with a small bit of strawberry on the back end. Would pair well with a Smokey Gouda.

Draught @ The Rare Barrel, Berkeley, CA

Pours reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of strawberry juice, tart vinegar, wood, oak, yeast. Taste is smooth and juicy with some tart strawberry notes, oak, wood and vinegar. Finish is tart, juicy and woody with some strawberry notes. Quite an unique beer once again from these guys.

From a tap at the brewery. The pour is a red orange with no head. The pour taste like a sweet strawberry vinegar yet for a single beer it’s great but I would not have more than one in a sitting.remind me of ochigo highway.
