COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Proportional Response, a balanced amber sour beer, is a blend of our mouth-puckering red sour beer and our faintly tart pale sour beer. The result of this blend is well-balanced amber sour beer with moderate tartness and hints of cherries and grapefruit.

On tap at the brewery in Berkeley. One of the better balanced beers of the day. Slight sour cherry flavor. Winner, winner chicken dinner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light apricot color, small white head. Aroma is red fruit, tart, somewhat barnyard. Unexpected sweetnesss, slightly tart finish. Not remotely complex. Tastes a lot like NG wild sour did fresh.

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Clear amber color with a medium ivory white head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tart fruits and oak. Light-bodied with flavors of tart berries and cherries with underlying funky yeast and herbs. The finish is lightly sour with a cherry aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle. Clear light amber pour with an off white head. Mild wet blanket and sour berry aromas. Thin in the body. Mild sour berry notes dominate. Oak and malty lowlights. Watery. Below average body and mouthfeel.

Bottle - pours amber. Light vinegar and sour notes in the nose. The taste is just bad. They body is thin and weak. No flavor. A little sourness but nothing good.

A perfectly fine tame red sour with the usual tart cherry/light vinegar quality. Drinkable and would be a nice beer to have readily available at a reasonable price. As a special release from a brewery called "The Rare Barrel" I’m not sure this does enough.

750 ml bottle poured a hazy golden amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of straw, horse blanket and citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of straw, citrus and light barnyard funk with a crisp dry tart lingering funky citrus finish.

Draft at tasting room. Color cross between amber and orange. Vibrant sour aroma (Brett?) Rather thin body. Good strong sour flavor with tartness lingering in the aftertaste. Slight bit of warming. Could use a little more body. But, not bad.

Bottle. Clear amber color. Tart fruit and wine aromas, a little funky. Sharp tartness in the mouth, some sour, bread and wood quickly dominate. Not bad but kind of boring.

Tap. Pours clear amber orange with a small off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is lightly tart, lemon, oak, cherry. Finish is tart and vinous. Medium body. Not that complex, but decent enough.
