Bottle found in the rolling farmland hills of Belgian southern Ohio. Cloudy straw color, fine white head, solid lacing. Aroma of white pepper, citrus, butter. Taste is peppery and herbal lemon butter. Pretty grim. Get it! Haha.

Poured from a bomber directly delivered from the brewer batch#17.Said to sit on it a bit as he knew it would be highly carbonated and flavor would improve over a couple of months. Poured golden amber with a thin head. Scent of grassy hops & sweet yeast? Taste is floral & hoppy. Nice mixture. A bit too carbonated as the head on this brew almost overflowed the glass. Overall a better than average Saison greatly enjoyed with a Rueben sandwich.

Bottle thanks to Jstax ! Pours a nice golden color with a big foamy head. Lots of grainy earthiness, spicy peppered yeast, citrus and a grassy bitterness on the finish. Nothing crazy but a solid saison offering !

Sample from batch #6 at the HSC July 4th beer tasting. Pours a clear bright gold-copper color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and citrus. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, yeast and grapefruit. The finish is spicy with a grassy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

22 ounce bottle, Batch #6. Served in a Unibroue tulip, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with about an inch and a half off-white head that stays around for a long time. There’s also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like coriander, oranges and orange peel, bready/grainy malt, and peppery spice. The taste is similar to the aroma. The peppery spice is the strongest flavor at first, and there’s also coriander, orange peel, bready/grainy malt and yeast noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick and is well carbonated. I think this is a good overall brew. Good thing I bought some of Granville’s other brews, so I’ll have to try them soon too! $9.99 a bottle.
