3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
dark reddish brown, little head, little lacing. Coffee and maybe something green on nose. A lot of coffee, some chocolate on palate. This was a little overbalanced to dark coffee flavors and the mouthfeel was a bit thin.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2011 This was the best of the beer tasted at the restaurant. The roasted malt jumps out at you as your nose draws near to the porter. There is much to like with beer. More body is my only improvement recommendation. The ink black porter has taste of coffee, caramel and roasted malt. The ale was a joy to drink. I purchased a growler to enjoy at home. This restaurant is three years old. The porter and the Brown ale won awards at a recent competition.
