COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Red Ale at its finest. Deep red color with a great maltiness makes this a flavorful, easy drinking ale.

Tap at The River Company. Pours clear dark amber to brown with a frothy, light beige head, medium-long retention with good lacing. Aroma is cookie and toast malt, dates and apple esters and earthy hops. Flavor is malty with fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Grainy peanut hull, dry aroma. Crystal clear, copper medium head. Drier than expected, grainy and malty. Creamy mouthfeel. Wonderful texture, which isn’t a strength of this brewery, nice example of the style.

The Red River ale was clear light amber. The appearance was perfect. The ale was thin with not much to interest you. It would be a good beer for watching TV and working outside. No lacing and small head. Finish was smooth with modest carbonation.

Definitely one of the best red ales I have ever drank. It is even more pleasing to sit in this fantastic atmosphere. In other words, don’t grab a growler and head for the door.

Amber pour with off white head and lace. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Sweet caramel malt with a hint of chocolate flavor. Medium bodied but a tad foamy. Pretty good beer.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear brown-chestnut color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is toffee with light berry-like fruit notes. Taste is caramel, toffee, berries and other faint fruit notes and a faint hoppy finish. Medium bodied.
