3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft @ The Tap. Very lightly hazy, pale yellow-gold body with light carbonation producing a cap of foam. Thick retention. Aroma has a malty grain with weak hoppy hints. Real clean flavor, with some sweet malt, light grassy hops and notes of hay. A rather dry finish. Spot on for the style. Nice recreation of the German style.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap. Pours a clear bright straw gold with a small frothy white head that faded to a thin covering. The nose is very clean, light bready and crackery maltiness with a touch of light floral hops. The flavor is pretty nice as well, very light and airy with a fairly crisp finish. Just the right amount of hops to balance out the malt, a slight fruitiness. Light bodied and easy drinking with a little clinginess on the finish. One of the better brewpub efforts at the style.
