On tap at the brewpub the afternoon of Night of the Funk 2010. Pours a nice brown color with a decent head, though it doesn’t have much in the way of retention. The nose is okay. In reality, there are some nice notes there but you have to dig really deep to find them. There’s a bit of light malt plus some earthy hops. The taste is much better with some dry bready malt and a nice earthy hop presence. An ever slight floral character as well. Pretty light beer with a nice bitterness. Drinks well enough and is a solid representation of the style. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-14-2010
