COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Want some hops but to still keep your taste buds intact? This American Pale Ale is the choice for you. WIth light floral notes and a good dose of Glacier hops, this well-balanced APA is a great step up if you want to graduate your palate. It’s also great with fried seafood and burgers. 30IBU

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours light amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy hops plus a decent amount of caramel and pale malts. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad pale ale.

12 oz bottle picked up at Julio’s. Copper color, little to no head, lacing non existent. Malty aroma, very little hop presence, not much going on here. Intriguing bottle...

Aroma of burnt caramel and minerals. Medium clear copper color. Sweet front with bitter, dry malty aftertaste. Grainy feel with a medium to light body. Another cutie on the bottle for good measure.

Hazy amber color. Light floral herb aroma. Medium bitterness that doesn’t linger too long with a touch of sour finish. Tingles the tongue with carbonation. Nice balance and doesn’t offend you. Not too bad but not very exciting. Worth a try.

Bottle. This appeared with a bit of aplomb, with an initial volcanic spurt. But the head quickly disappeared from this rusty orange beer. This has a rustic hoppiness with a moderately tangy finish. (#4348, 10/24/2011)

I like this beer better than other people I guess. I thought it had both a significant hop and malt profile...not something I taste often in other pale ale. I enjoyed it very much. Citrus hops and doughy malts interplay nicely. Medium-to-low carbonation keeps this easy but not too flat. Enjoyable.

Had this at the Julio’s Beer Fest, and I wrote that it was "Grood as FACK". Towards the end of the night and about 50 beers sampled. So i guess its grood as fack.

On tap at the brewpub the afternoon of Night of the Funk 2010. Pours a nice brown-caramel color with a two-finger white head and a bit of lacing as it goes down. The nose brings some mild malt as well as some very light floral hops. The taste goes in the same direction with some floral hops and a tad bit of citrus. There is a bit of bread dough there as well. I expected more from the taste, as there is quite a bit of bitterness in the feel, the taste just doesn’t quite match up. In the end, a pretty decent brew. Bottle. Pours a honey golden body with a white head and slight head retention. Malty body hops are faded soap y, earth, a hint floral. Oxidation notes paper, cardboard etch. A hint of skunk aromtically that seems to dissipate. Pretty mild and boring. EH.

Pours a three finger white head fades slowly leaving some lace. Almost clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Nose is grapefruit hops and flavor is same - grapefruit hops - average APA. $1.95 for a 12oz bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, Ma.
