Pours dark black. Very slight head, dark tan that stays for a wee bit. Creamy. Aroma definitely of chocolate. Can grab just a bit of hop aroma. Darker fruit, maybe cherries? Sweet chocolate right off the bat. Some coffee bitterness coming on at the end. Sweetish, almost like a sweet stout. Kind of thin malt for an Imp Stout. On the palate, this is silky smooth. Sadly, I think a bit of flavor may have been sacrificed to achieve this smoothness. Overall, not bad. A bit sugary and lacking that POW that imp stouts pride themselves in. Very drinkable. This would be a highly rated regular stout, but is an average imp stout. NEEDS TO BE BIGGER!

carbonation slightly prickly, nice roasty character, nose is rather weak, pours dark black, no transparency, head is 2 fingers middle of the glass pour, barely any lacing...
overall a nice stout.

Bottle at chris_o’s "smash Kook’s granny tasting". Alround rating: Old sweat, my feet when iv bad athleats foot, frogs, glue and roast. Come now, oh my!

EBF NOTB. Not quite black in color witha tan head. A bit of a subdued aroma for an RIS- chocolate, roast are there. Taste: Roasted malt which gets a touch astringent, the body isn’t quite as full as I like RIS’s to be- alcohol very prevalent though.

Draft. Pours a murky brown body with ruby hues and a tan head. Huge bourbon and chocolate chalky and sweet with hints of coco and dark fruit. decent.

on tap-pours a thin tan head and black color. Aroma is dark fruit, dark malt. Taste is dark malt-ashy/some molasses, dark fruit, some hops bite. Nice. Full side of medium body.
