4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Hopped up and bready, a lot like a Fat Tire mutated into a bold IPA. The aroma and flavors are fairly unique amongst the mass of craft India Pale Ales.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft @ The Tap. Nose is mostly pine and floral hops. Flavor has lots of bitter resinous hops without much malt balance. Leafy green hops and more pine cone. Whoa, for me itís really on the harsh side. Lighter body doesnít make it any easier to drink. More malt for balance would really help this recipe.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thanks to WillRunForBeer. Aroma is almost that of a hoppy barleywine. Pine hop, caramel, biscuit, and grapefruit rind. Nice clean bronze body with a medium head. Taste is disappointing (perhaps aged). Bitterness is there with a grassy bite but there is a lot of earthy hop in the way. Not my favorite.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy orange color, decent head and lace. Floral, earthy hop scent, slight bread as well. Taste is more of an English style, earthy/piney hops. Medium body slightly dry finish. Good beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Haverhill, a town filled with drinking and misogyny. A perfect example is this IPA, which is more substantial than its 50 BUs and 5%denotes. Stanky under-ripe grapefruit and resin abounds - clearly lots of chinook. Usual orange hazy look.d Bluntly bitter rather than hoppy, and although there is some malt contrast, there beer is light enough that it feels overmatched. Anyway, my lips long ago turned into my wallet so the deeper meaning of this beer is lost on me.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A murky hazed amber IPA with a thin lacing creamy light mocha head. In aroma, classic floral c-hops, pungent and meaty, with light grassy notes. In mouth, a nice smooth biscuit malt with herbal floral hops citrus notes, grassy, OK. On tap at Lord Hobo, July 15, 2012.
