I was having a chat with the brewer who said that this beer was a limited edition as it was born of a cock up involving the accidental addition of some sample barley that caused the beer to adopt a reddish hue. While this beer has a darkish hue off handpull, Iím not sure the cock-up was a bad one. Darker amber with a collar of white head (bliss to be having hand pull beer). The aroma is gorgeous and impressed even the very volatile Mrs Jimthechap! Fresh lemon, passionfruit and tropical aromas abound. The flavour was a nudge in a different direction: fruit with glace peel, ginger and a massive blast of hoppy bitterness which I loved (but Mrs J didnít). The bitterness saw the flavor endure into a lasting a puckering finish. God, I wish there was more of this,
