Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
Its initial sweetness is, apparently, "of roasted and vinous notes with a subtle bitter aftertaste". Strong fruitiness, often with "banana notes" standing out, is derived from Old Peculier’s fermentation process.

12 oz. bottle at Zeno’s, Penn State. Full mouthfeel. Creamy, sweet malt with chocolate and caramel notes. I’ve avoided this one for years for some reason, an admitted mistake.

Thin white head. Dark red-brown body rather like Coke. Sweetish roasty aroma. Sweet roasty licorice taste with dry, burnt caramel aftertaste. Marzipan notes. Quite good, but not too special. (0.336l bottle.)

Not exactly what I wanted. Sully can’t take an order... He’s fired (oh if I had only followed thru!!) It’s darker I guess you would say... it’s beer...

My buddy’s mom found a bottle of this at a flea market and she bought it for us! Great move by mom, but I was a little concerned about the condition of the brew...Lots of caramel and toffee in the aroma--smelss almost BA. Murky brown with a thin head. Medium palate. Really nice toffee flavor--very creamy. Really suprised by this one.

Bland brew! Not much aroma or taste. Brown color. Light to medium body. Little roasted malt flavor---and no hops that I could notice.
