The name of the beer already hints at the unmistakeable presence of the very best Hausbrandt coffee and the grand history of Theresianer beer, smoothly entwined in a perfect definition of taste arising from carefully selected dark malt. Theresianer Coffee Stout proffers itself to the palate like one of the best stouts with its Anglo Saxon character, well-defined taste and unique personality. This Stout is created from a combination of one of the most excellent Hausbrandt blends and the meticulous handiwork of master brewers in the best Theresianer tradition.  It presents itself to the eye with the classic intense ebony colour and to the nose with its aroma of roasted coffee enveloped in hints of cocoa, hazelnut, cappuccino and pleasantly spicy notes. Its delicate, smooth, well-rounded malt flavour is followed by the aroma of coffee with bittersweet overtones which give to the beer an intriguing and remarkable drinkability.

750ml at home. black color, long lasting coffee colored head. smells of espresso, some chocolate and some fruits, very nice smell. medium body, taste of coffee, chocolate, mulberry, some sweetness, overall the finish is just slightly more bitter than sweet. Overall I like this, but not totally happy with the finish.

Great bottle. Pours black, with coffee aroma. Head doesn’t last. Taste is quite bitter, with coffee and roasted, burnt malts. Bitterness lasts. Not bad at all.

750ml bottle. Pours with a big thick latte coloured head of foam atop a base of dark black beer. There is some coffee in the aroma mixed in with roasted malt. Thin in the mouth with a a smooth coffee kick, bit Iike an iced coffee. Nice aftertaste of coffee on the palate.
