COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It is a typical Victorian Pale Ale with an auburn-yellow colour and a persistent froth. Full-bodied distinguished by the fruity scent of its superior fermented yeast. As tradition has it the Theresianer Pale Ale is well balanced and ideal with fresh and persistent flavours.

Bottle 0,33L. Clear, dark golden colour with average, creamy, off-white head. Toasted malty aroma with grassy hops, biscuits, honey and vanilla. Taste starts light acidic, apricot marmelade like and finish light acidic/medium bitter. Medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing and easy to drink, but less acidity would make it better, I think.

Fruktig og fin aroma, men den blir for sukkersøt i munnen. Ellers god. (Jomfruland, 09.08.14)

Bottle from Bottle Bank, Falmouth, Cornwall. Clear gold with a healthy close to white head. Aroma is quite mild, some sweet caramel, high malt flavours, marzipan, some fruit. flavour has peach, more malts, medium sweetness. I quite enjoyed this. A little thin but refreshing. Doesn’t taste like an English pale though but who cares...

0.33 bottle. Pours deep clear gold with medium soft head. Faint aroma of grassy hops and cardboard. Sweet and malty taste, honey and flowers. Cooked apples in the aftertaste. Too much carbonation for the style. Better than other lagers, but far from a real ale.

Sabor persistente e um amargor gostoso. Espuma cremosa, porém se desfaz rápido demais. Bastante frutada. É uma boa ale, tendo bom custo benefício.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 Old rating, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Fruktig lukt med preg av malt, humle, tørka frukt, karamell og gras. Sødmerik smak med preg av malt, humle, sukker og gras. Metallisk. Middels bitterhet og lengde. Kjedelig.

33 cl Bottle @ L’incrocio, Arona. Pours a nice sunset orange, with a compact and lasting off white head. Aroma is not very strong, fruity with some apricots and peach, just a touch of zest. Taste is moderately sweet, with an oily body to mask the ABV and a low bitterness to balance, carbonation is medium, leaves a zesty, short mouthfeel. Certainly not the pale ale ’ve ever had, but cheap and still enjoyable.
