2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Mezcalmannen (395) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2011
Predominantly a malty taste, in the finish as well, but some bitterness is added. Butter in the aroma. Colour is amber, hardly any head. This is an interesting beer of sorts, but doesn’t exactly cater to my taste. (33 cl bottle)

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Mellonius (71) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - OCT 1, 2011
Definitely not an English Pale Ale. Too sweet and unhopped. Some nice citrusy and fuity notes against a sweet, malty background. Not a well balanced brew. Tastes like a lager.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 heavy (1989) - Split, CROATIA - AUG 24, 2011
13/08 0.33 l bottle from Coop store, Gradisca d’Isonzo. It poured copper body with small head. Fine yeasty and biscuit aroma, touched with caramel. Nice flavor as well, elegant malts with spices like cloves. Slightly sweet fine caramel base. Medium bodied. Long and tasty finish, caramel and slightly bitter spicy. More similar to some lighter Belgian ales than English ones, but it’s greatly underrated here. Nice.
1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 tmrmwel (520) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 12, 2011
Bottle. Pours golden, with a light head. Aroma is not bad, with notes of caramel and sweet citrus. Flavour also has some notes of citrus, but mostly it’s bitterly unpleasant notes of sour cabbage and yeast.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 OleR (4248) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 5, 2011
0.33 L bottle, picked up @Vinmonopolet, Vika. Clear pilsner golden, medium white head. Sweet sugary malt aroma, not unlike the smell of an alcohol-scented eurolager. No hops detected. Taste is unrefined and cloyingly sweet. Butter notes. Mealy. Traces of bitterness down below. Juicy mouthfeel. Medium full. Sweet buttery malt-drops ending. Hmm...
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Sigmund (4280) - Tau, NORWAY - JUL 11, 2011
330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika. ABV is 6.5%. Golden colour, large to moderate head. Aroma and flavour of unhopped pilsener wort, cooked vegetables and baby porridge. Remarkably bad and boring. The Norwegian importer has apparently decided to import the entire Theresianer range without tasting all the beers first. This one (and the Bock) is not something I would buy again. Ever.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 esp0r (1324) - NORWAY - JUL 8, 2011
Bottle at home bought at Vinmonopolet Vika
Golden clear, thin lasting white head. Aroma has yeast, malts and something i will describe as sulfide. Taste is much the same. Full malt body, tons of sweetness, also bubble gum. Finish is not very hoppy.
This beer has stopped me from wanting to try other from this brewery
