A quality Pilsner produced with selected Pilsner malt, Saaz hops and low fermented yeast following the traditional recipes. These genuine ingredients are chosen and blended rigorously respecting the Pilsner tradition. It has a pleasant scent of hops and a fresh flavour of barley malt. A refreshing drink which quenches your thirst and goes well with seafood.

Makes a very carbonated appearance when poured in the glass. Foam vanishes quickly. Smell is not very intensive and is pilsner typical. First taste is quite fizzy and fresh with a light sweetness and continuing light bitterness. It reminds me of, citrus fruits, a hint of, bananas and vanilla. The palate is quite long lasting. Altogether a pretty good pilsener.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a very decent white frothy head. Mild malty aroma, some grassy notes also present. Taste is slightly on the sweet side and bready at first, followed by grassy hops and mild bitterness in the finish. Crisp and easily drinkable. Basic but still ok.

Poured from brown bottle into Spieglau IPA glass, a light yellow colour with long-lasting white foam and lace, slight chill haze. Clean, crisp, light, grassy, slight black pepper spice, flowery, cleansing herbal impression. A tasty, true-to-style pilsener. Reminded me of Bitburger or Wernesgrunner, not as malty as Warsteiner or Spaten. Not much complexity to it, but no faults. Good easy-drinking beer.

Pour is a chill hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweetish pale malt. Flavor is a dry cracker malt and a bit of grassy hop. Finish is gone quickly but has enough clean bready pils malt to let you know the style they were going for. This ain’t great, it’s rather bland and watery, but it is better then most of the ratings on here.

Clear golden color, big white head. Some lacing. Weird hops and dogfood aroma. Taste is OK. Malty, hoppy, bready and sour apples note. Medium sweet, light bitter taste. Light to medium body, lively carbonation. Slightly dry finish. It is what it is.

Bottle 0.33l. Clear pale yellow liquid with big white head. Light body, medium carbonation. Taste of beer mixed with wine, medium and a bit more sweetness. Too sweet and too winy.

Pensavo peggio. L aspetto è bello oro chiaro e limpido con bella testa di schiuma fine. Aroma si sente metallico. In bocca il finale è dolciastro non pessima ma nemmeno buona

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2014 330ml bottle served in a Weizen glass. A: Pours a very clear pale yellow color forming big bubbled and soapy white head. Medium retention and tons of white soapy and lingering lacings left in the glass S: Nice smell of sweet pale grains and hoppy and flowery Pilsener style hops. Probably Saaz hops. Crispy pale malts taste. In overall, a dry malty taste. Yeasts are very bready and low fermentation-like. A bit earthy too T: Follows the nose, strong notes of pale grains in the upfront. Slightly sweet. Very bready. In overall, a dry and crispy taste. Could be a bit more hoppy but still not bad at all M: Light body. Light carbonation. I this point, it lacks a bit of extra carbonation to the style. Hoppy flowery and mild bitter aftertaste O: Smooth and quite drinkable beer. Another good surprise from Theresianer brewery [ BA Review @ 10/28/2013 ]

Glass at the Pearl Cafe. Clear golden with a white head. This is a classic version of the style. Soft malts and hops that are fruity, sulfury, and a bit soapy. Just a little grass. Decent stuff.
