2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
0.33l bottle. Pours a clear pale straw yellow body with a thin little lasting white head. Aroma is not to dominant but I can find some hints of sweet malts, low grassy hops and some watery peach. Body is what I can only describe as a Theresianer- bodied beer. Oily, near creamy mouthfeeling with average carbonation. Mildly hopy flavors with notes of cactus and a light bitter hopy aftertaste. Nice enough as a thirst quencher, but not something I need to taste again.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5%. Pale golden colour, large white head of good retention. Decent aroma of grassy and floral Saazer hops, with a hint of honey. The flavour has also nice presence of Saaz, but there is also a pleasant malty sweetness. Overall is this a fairly well balanced pilsener, above average for the style, and very refreshing when cold.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2011 Bottle, shared with Palme at my 1000-rating tasting, 16th of May 2011. :-) Clear pale lager body, medium frothy white head that gives up fast. Nose is dusty hops, pale malts and faint hints of cardboard. Taste is pretty straightforward pilsener flavors; grains, pale malts and cereal tones, grassy hops and slight hints of veggies and cardboard. Not too horrible, but this is pretty average lager stuff from Theresianer. Their unfiltered version was considerably better.

330ml bottle. Light and pasty in the glass with a big creamy white foam head. Pale light lemon rind colour, clear. Grainy malt aromas with some hay and light citrus in the background. Overall the flavour is fairly modest and carries some grain flavours.

Bottle (Chaucer Cellars). Gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma has hay, apples, pear, butter, grass. Quite sweet. More fruit than hay or caramel, although there’s some butterscotch. Finish is dry but not very bitter. Some astringency from the carbonation. Drinkable but dull.
