COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classic auburn-red lager descends directly from the first "Vienna" produced in Trieste at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. It maintains its smooth, fresh, simple taste together with a cleverly weighted flavour of malt and hops. Because of the simplicity and balance of its aroma this light red beer is perfect with all kind of food.

Boring beer which packs no body, thin aromatics and an almost skunky finish.

Bottle 0.33 L. Clear amber body with an average white head, mostly lasting with some lacing; high density of small-sized bubbles. Light malty (caramel) aroma with light hints of yeast (sweat) and some alcoholic-solvent note. Moderate sweet flavour with some bitter note; dry finish. Light body with quite a dry texture; soft carbonation.

330 ml bottle. Dark golden body with a nice off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel and some citric fruity hops. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, toast and citric fruit with moderate bitterness. Pretty straight forward all the way. Not very exiting, the best part is the aroma.

Bottle. It pours a more or less clear body, golden in color and with a dense, off-white head. Butterscotch and some fruityness on the nose, some citrusy hints. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Also the flavor has a distinct butterscotch, with fruityness and some citrus. A touch of bitterness too, towards the end. Certainly not my kind of beer, especially the butterscotch drives me away. 111123
